Long live the Latino

Vive Latino, an extension of the Festival Iberoamericano de Cultura Musical Vive Latino, is an alternative music festival. It has been held every year at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City since 1998. It was originally a rock festival, but in recent editions it has opened its doors to other genres, from electronica to regional Mexican. The program mainly features well-known Latin American musicians, but gradually the event included the participation of groups and guest soloists from other international regions, including Anglo-Saxons, Germans, Austrians, etc.

Corona Capital

Corona Capital is an annual music festival held in Mexico City at the fourth turn of the Hermanos Rodríguez Autobahn. It started in 2010 and is organized by Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento. It mainly offers rock and alternative music. Its name comes from the fact that it is the sponsor of the beer of the same name.

Tecate Peninsula

Another famous Mexican beer, Tequate, gave its name to the festival, which held its last edition on October 26 in Tijuana. It prefers Spanish-speaking artists, but accepts a few foreign groups. It has become the largest festival in Baja California.

Machaca Fest

The festival is also known for its rides and food trucks offering typical dishes from the region.

EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival Mexico)

EDC is an interdisciplinary experience that combines electronic music, live DJs, performances and flamboyant sets. This festival, also sponsored by Tecate, started in 2012 in Monterrey. The festival gathers more than 200,000 people every year.

Cosquin Rock Mexico

The Argentine festival started in the province of Cordoba has spread to several countries, such as Peru and Uruguay, for several years. In 2017, it was held in Mexico for the first time.
