Pros
Great people to work with and learn from, you get much more responsibility at booking.com compared to other large companies I have worked for, and this sense of autonomy really makes you feel like you are owning your work and improving your skills in a company that actually cares about your career. Relocation team went above and beyond to really make you feel valued, before you have even started! Culture is friendly and there are always open conversations going on throughout the business on important topics, such as wellbeing, diversity and inclusion. Work/life balance is great and lots of perks!
Cons
Onboarding remotely wasn’t the most fun in a pandemic but booking.com did their best to keep us all engaged throughout the sessions.

Pros
Family and People first. It is amazing how much care people have for each other and the mission. The people that I work with are amazing and supportive and you feel that booking has your best interests at heart. booking has a variety of learning tools as well, classes, virtual, and self paced. You can grow your career in many different areas because of the global footprint and multitude of positions. Benefits are good and can I say travel?! The world is opening back up and it is great to be able to explore with my family and my team!
Cons
Matrixed org and there is a balancing act between Global and regional that sometimes don’t align well. Because of all of the time zones it can be a challenge to connect with some if you are doing things that are outside of your region.

Pros
booking has some of the best benefits I’ve ever seen a company offer. The company culture is also great.
Cons
Needs to view employees as people and not numbers.

Pros
Good benefits and a good amount of PTO
Cons
Company only cared about numbers, wanted short calls but had a lot of “unscripted” things they wanted you to get in, in every call.

They fired everyone who had limited contracts and closed the office. Recently I saw their office in Amsterdam, looked very similar to what we had
